People are Talking about Marvo!

I think the program was beautifully done; a most intimate and nuanced portrait of a small Kentucky town.  It is very hard for me to be objective about this since I appear in it and know so many of the people interviewed; I thought it was terrific and those in Annapolis who watched it with me were most impressed by the quality and depth of the show.  The choice of Mary Grace Petit was brilliant as was the issue of integration and African American culture in Princeton.  It all rang true.

We both agree things are moving extraordinarily well for this community.... thanks for being the prime mover in this effort to become the community that will set the bar for others!!

Thanks for making Tuesday a night to remember in Greenville.  Everyone I've talked to is ecstatic and the attendance was great.  You and your staff did a phenomenal job.

What a night to remember! …….. I had high expectations.... but even those were far exceeded.   Your work is more than professional; it is very inspiring and entertaining as well.

The kids loved seeing their work used and have asked several times when do we get to shoot more. This has been such a wonderful experience for them. Taryn said when she first saw herself, she thought, “Hey, I made the final cut.” When she saw herself again, she just said. "Wow"; she couldn't believe it. Nothing but a great experience all the way around. Thanks again for all you have done and the opportunities you have provided our students.

I like the profiles to My Kentucky Home.  They capture a rich history and way of life; I really feel as if I’m part of the conversation with your subjects.

Thank you for reminding us of our daring roots, for showing us how we've ridden the waves of economic and cultural prosperity and decline, and for giving us hope for where we have yet to go. Your vision is our gift.

I have watched the Straight From Henry's Heart video three times since we have been back from the workshop-- it gets better each time I see it!
